The Key to Our Success
Getting to know our drivers is like taking a trip around the world. There are few places that you can experience so many unique cultures represented under one roof, but here at Columbus Yellow Cab you can. Each with a unique background, together our driver partners represent over 37 countries, but all share one thing in common; Columbus is their home. We believe our drivers and their stories set us apart, and that this diversity is essential to the growth of our business, our employees, and our mission.
At Columbus Yellow Cab, we pride ourselves on the fact that our drivers are some of the best professional drivers in the world. Before ever getting behind the wheel of a vehicle, each driver is required to go through a rigorous three-day training course. Once on board, our drivers undergo annual multi state background checks, assistance training, and defensive driving training, but many take it a step further and are First Aid and CPR trained through the National Safety Council!
Our driver partners are the public-facing ambassadors of our business. Between them, they provide 2,000 – 3,000 safe and reliable trips to a wide variety of Central Ohio community members each day, and are the key to our success.
Yellow Cab of Columbus offers driver partners a great support system and takes care of the detail work – maintenance, inspections, vehicle insurance and detailing, scheduling and payment
